The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing free additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Revealed

According to the formal statement, "An unusual encounter pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where rumors of forbidden rituals and monstrous metamorphoses reverberate through the darkness." The narrative introduces a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a hidden group.

The mission centers on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying enemy" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Changes

The teaser features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer finishes with a dramatic scene showing a character, likely the hostage, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Extra Features

Players who successfully complete the adventure will receive an exclusive katana in addition to numerous artifacts secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
